Crisis/Mobile Response and Stabilization Provider

$5,000 SIGN-ON BONUS

Job Type: Full-time

Work Location: In-person, community-based services including home and school settings

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Clinical & Crisis Services:

  • Treatment planning and crisis intervention

  • Coordination and assistance with crisis management and stabilization

  • Implementation of safety plans

  • Behavioral assessments and interventions

  • De-escalation and emotional regulation support

  • Detailed progress notes and documentation related to crisis services

  • Maintenance of accurate and timely clinical records

Coordination & Collaboration:

  • Assistance with linkage to natural and formal support systems

  • Coordination of services across systems of care

  • Collaboration with RU Program Manager, RU Therapist, treatment teams, clients, families, hospitals, schools, and community providers

  • Coordination of hospitalizations, Residential Unit (RU) admissions, and follow-up services

Community Engagement & Program Development:

  • Consultation with community members regarding crisis intervention and suicide prevention

  • Participation in presentations and trainings at schools, agencies, or community settings as requested

  • Participation in program development and evaluation

    • MRSS is a growing and evolving program; flexibility and adaptability are required

Qualifications:

  • Must hold an active Ohio license in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT)

    • Bachelor’s degree with license required upon hire

    • Master’s degree with independent license preferred

  • Demonstrated passion and commitment to working with youth and caregivers in community-based settings

Required Knowledge & Skills:

  • Therapeutic treatment interventions and modalities

  • Crisis intervention techniques

  • De-escalation and emotional regulation strategies

  • Behavioral support and problem-solving skills

  • Basic understanding of suicide risk and self-harm behaviors

  • Experience with Child/Adolescent Behavior

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to fully participate in physical restraint and seclusion training and demonstrate physical hold techniques as trained to ensure client safety when necessary

    • Use of physical holds is considered a last resort but is an essential function of the position

  • Ability to regularly stand, stoop, kneel, and engage physically as required when working with children experiencing emotional dysregulation, suicidality, or crisis behaviors

Transportation & Background Requirements

Full-Time/Part-Time/Relief Behavioral Health Specialist

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, and Relief shifts available

Work Location: In-person

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct supervision, support, and therapeutic interventions to youth in a residential setting

  • Implement treatment plans and behavioral interventions using trauma-informed principles

  • Support a safe, structured, and supportive environment

  • Accurately document services and incidents as required

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and supervisorsCase Management:

  • Provide outreach, assessment, and coordinated service planning

  • Identify resources within the agency and surrounding communities

  • Implement and coordinate service linkages

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services, education, or a related field or appropriate relevant experience

  • Strong experience working with youth (required)

  • Knowledge of trauma theory and trauma-informed interventions (preferred)

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Ability to pass required background checks, including BCI and FBI

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:

Part-Time School Based Behavioral Health Provider

Job Type: Part-time

Work Location: In-person (services provided in a school, community, or virtual setting)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide school based or community behavioral health services to children and adolescents

  • Assess child and family functioning, environmental risk factors, and client, family and environmental strengths

  • Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with youth and caregivers.

  • Utilize evidence-based and trauma-informed practices appropriate to the youth population.

  • Provide crisis intervention and safety planning as needed for assigned clients

  • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with agency policy, Ohio Administrative Code (OAC), and payer requirements.

  • Coordinate care and referrals with caregivers, schools, primary care providers, case managers, and other involved professionals.

  • Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and supervision as required.

  • Comply with all confidentiality, HIPAA, and mandated reporting requirements.

  • Maintain productivity standards and participate in quality assurance activities.

  • Attend required trainings, staff meetings, and professional development activities.

  • Other duties as assigned to support program and agency operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field (degree requirements may vary based on service level provided).

  • Ohio licensure or certification appropriate to the position (e.g., LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, MFT, or equivalent), or eligibility to obtain licensure within required timeframes.

  • Must meet all OhioMHAS and payer credentialing requirements for outpatient behavioral health services.

  • Experience providing mental health services to children and adolescents preferred.

  • Knowledge of child development, family systems, and behavioral health diagnoses.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Residential Services Supervisor

Job Type: Full-time

Work Location: In-person / in unit

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Administrative:

  • Orientation and training of new Behavior Specialists and Relief Workers

  • On-unit mentoring, coaching and support to Behavior Specialists, Relief Workers, and Interns, provide timely feedback to individual staff

  • Development of therapeutic programming with clients; manage staff assignments in accordance with therapeutic expectations of program

  • Review daily documentation and communications, providing immediate feedback as relevant

  • Assist Behavior Specialists with de-escalation techniques and in debriefings with client

  • Identify and request program and unit supplies

Direct Services:

  • Adhere to agency policy regarding accurate and timely documentation including oversight of Residential staff documentation

  • Engage clients and caregivers in treatment, exhibiting empathy, sensitivity, cultural competence and respect 

  • Communicate with caregiver and Treatment Team to facilitate home visits

  • Serve as liaison with Transportation Coordinator to ensure pick-up and drop-off of clients, and to increase efficiency and safety of transportation for clients

  • Serve as liaison with Nursing Staff, coordinating client medical needs and ensuring successful medication administration by Behavior Specialists

  • Act as liaison with Director of Human Resources regarding interns and volunteers assigned to the Residential Treatment program including scheduling, orientation, training, monitoring and evaluations

  • Serve as liaison with schools regarding school safety plans and education plans

    • School Safety Plans:

      • Primary coordination with family, client and school personnel to establish individualized return-to-school safety plans

      • Phone support for residential clients as identified in school safety plan including support for clients who are experiencing physical/emotional escalation in school setting

    • Collaborate with caregivers to develop personalized education plans for clients who reside outside of Wood County

  • Provide Residential Unit shift coverage in the absence of appropriate staffing level

Professionalism:

  • Represent the Children’s Resource Center in a professional and respectful manner (including appearance and demeanor) across all platforms (i.e. in person, virtual, social media, etc.) within and outside of the agency

  • Promote agency mission and values through actions and communications 

  • Complete required trainings promptly.

  • Communicate in articulate, organized and grammatically accurate manner, orally and in written communications

  • Adhere to HIPAA, agency, state, and federal guidelines regarding client confidentiality 

  • Promote trauma-informed care by utilizing the core values and tools with clients and staff

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with behaviorally or emotionally challenged youth.

  • Knowledge of mental health diagnoses, symptomatology, and treatment programming.

  • Understanding of trauma-informed practices.

  • Satisfactory completion of criminal records checks (BCI and FBI) and state-required database checks.

  • Ability to work evenings and weekends if needed

  • Familiarity with electronic health records
