Client Rights and Policies

Welcome to Children’s Resource Center (CRC)!  All families experience challenges and sometimes support, and services are just what they need to overcome those changes.  CRC is an agency that helps families heal and recover from a variety of life circumstances.  We are glad you chose the CRC to help you along your journey.

CRC coordinates with a variety of professionals and agencies that provide services to children and their families.  Part of our responsibility to families is to help provide direction regarding the use and availability of these services to your family.  We will refer your family to other healthcare centers when we believe they may be better suited to meet your needs.

We engage highly qualified staff to work with those who seek help here.  The staff and leadership of CRC believe that everyone reserves the right to feel safe in their pursuit of health, hope and happiness.  You can expect to work with friendly, engaged staff who will work with your family throughout your course of treatment.  If there are services CRC does not provide the staff will facilitate referrals if needed. All clients will receive a Client Handbook upon admission.

Residential Services Client Rights and Policies

The Residential Unit provides short-term assessment, treatment, and crisis intervention to youth ages 4-17 with severe emotional difficulties and high-risk behaviors. The goal is to help youth stabilize in a safe, supervised environment by providing intensive therapeutic interventions. Families are expected to participate in treatment to work on strategies to reduce high-risk behavior and prepare for discharge.  Youth have individualized plans to target behavioral goals and improve coping skills. The goal is to discharge youth when stabilization is accomplished.

New clients are expected to participate in a Mental Health Assessment to adequately assess residents’ treatment needs, identify treatment goals, and develop a treatment/service plan. CRC may provide the recommended mental health services or refer services to another appropriate mental health provider. All clients will receive a Residential Services Client Handbook upon admission.
