Join us as we celebrate the grand opening of our youth crisis center! In partnership with the Wood County Alcohol Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services Board (WCADAMHS), this is a pivotal project in the enhancement of Northwest Ohio’s crisis continuum for youth.  The center will provide crisis stabilization care to youth in Wood County and surrounding areas. It will include 16 rooms, 10 traditional CRU beds and 6 intensive care beds for youth who require longer-term stabilization (up to 3 months). The crisis center will include common areas, therapy rooms for both group and individual treatment, a full kitchen and dining, and family spaces for visitation. It has been made possible through the American Rescue Plan act with a $7.6 million grant awarded by the Ohio Department of Behavioral Health.

The event will begin with a ribbon cutting ceremony performed by BG Chamber of Commerce, along with remarks by partners in this project. Open house and refreshments to follow.
